HEARTS & MINDS 5K RUN

CCEF Hearts & Minds 5K Run – Check back soon for our 2026 date. 

The Corpus Christi Education Foundation hosted its 8th annual CCEF Hearts & Minds 5K Run on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (2nd entrance at the Plaza). Proceeds from this fundraising event benefit the Corpus Christi Independent School District.

The 2025 5k run had over 1,600 participants, including CCISD students, CCISD teachers and staff members, business partners and community members. The CCEF Hearts & Minds 5K is among the largest 5K held in Corpus Christi.

CCEF is thankful for the support of many in the community who value the quality of education for CCISD students, including Fulton Coastcon Construction, H-E-B, Weaver & Jacobs Constructors, Inc., AEP Texas, Focus Foundation, CoastLife Credit Union, Frost Bank, Gignac Architects, Thompson & Horton, LLP, Corpus Christi Principals and Supervisors Association, Kennedy Dental, Kleberg Bank, Mike’s Barber Shop, and Rally Credit Union. 

The education foundation is requesting your partnership in 2026 as a CCEF Hearts & Minds 5K Run sponsor. Your support will fund students with innovative programming in the classroom, including real-world hands-on unique educational experiences, and enhance education to develop the hearts and minds of our students’ – the future of Corpus Christi.

SPONSORSHIPS

Sponsorship opportunities are available and range from $250 to $10,000. 

PAYMENT: Please complete and submit the Sponsorship Confirmation Form (link below). You can send a check or money order to the address contained on the form, select to receive an invoice at your place of business, and/or call (361) 695-7412 to find out about options to pay for sponsorship via credit card.

CCISD STUDENT RUNNERS

• Free of charge for all CCISD students only.
• Sign up for the 5K run/walk by clicking the link below.
• Free student registrations close at end of day on January 8, 2025.
o Any student that missed the deadline to register may still register in
person on the day of the race for a fee of $10. A t-shirt is not guaranteed.
• Campus Coach or Running Club sponsor will disburse race packets to students.
